Advantage Power Pricing
Advantage Power Pricing - A new way to comfortably save on electricity

We want to help you take charge of your electricity costs, and give you options that make life easier for you. That's why we've designed Advantage Power Pricing (APP), a new trial electricity pricing program that empowers customers to save on energy costs.

Pick a program that fits with your lifestyle, and you can reduce your costs — without sacrificing comfort. You'll also be helping to reduce the production of carbon-intensive electricity — it's a win for you and for the environment! In addition, you can get an incentive by enrolling your existing or new smart thermostat to help you manage your energy costs.

Originally launched May 1, 2015, the Advantage Power Pricing program has been extended to run until December 31, 2018 with new options and features. It is a voluntary program, and customers can end their participation at any time by contacting our Customer Care Centre at 1-844-952-5291. All plans are risk free until the end of 2017, so you can feel comfortable trying a plan to see if it’s right for you.

Ontario Energy Board
This is one of a series of pilots under way across Ontario led by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) whose mandate is to promote a sustainable and efficient energy sector that provides consumers with reliable energy services at a reasonable cost. With the participation of utilities and their customers, the OEB’s goal with these pilots is to test different electricity price plans designed to give greater consumer control and help Ontario’s power system run more efficiently.
