Winter Warmth Program

The Winter Warmth Program was created to help individuals and or families who are struggling to pay their winter heating and hydro bills. The program provides a one time financial assistance grant of up to a maximum of $450 per year. This grant is available to low-income and or special circumstance residents’ who qualify and meet criteria set out in the "2011 Winter Warmth Program" and whose PowerStream account is in arrears or is faced with the threat of disconnection.

Winter Warmth is delivered within PowerStream’s service territory through the United Way of York Region, the United Way of Greater Simcoe County and or their intake agencies.
