Winter Warmth Program

The Winter Warmth Program was created to help individuals and or families who are struggling to pay their winter heating and hydro bills. The program provides a one time financial assistance grant of up to a maximum of $450. This grant is available to low-income and or special circumstance residents’ whose PowerStream account is in arrears or is faced with the threat of disconnection.

Winter Warmth is delivered within PowerStream’s service territory through the United Way of York Region and the United Way of Greater Simcoe County. PowerStream customers, who are in need of assistance or would like additional information, should call one of the following telephone numbers:
