PowerStream accounts are payable by the following methods:

 
  • Telephone and personal computer banking offered by your financial institution

    When setting up your PowerStream account to pay by online banking, a payee search for "PowerStream" typically returns three possible matches. To set up your account to pay by online banking:

    1. Select the payee simply named "PowerStream"

    Online Banking | Choose PowerStream

    2. Enter your 10-digit PowerStream account number

    Online Banking | My Bill

    Choosing the correct payee will prevent any delay in your payment being received by
    PowerStream and applied to your account.
  
 
  • At most chartered banks and financial institutions. Allow 5 business days for processing
  
 
  • New Pre-authorized Payments

We are not accepting new pre-authorized payment applications at this time.

     • Residential Pre-authorized Payment Application - not available at this time
     • Business Pre-authorized Payment Application - not available at this time

We are currently making system changes, which includes some changes to our processes. Due to the high sensitivity of customers' financial information and the absolute need for accuracy when processing pre-authorized payments (PAP), we have decided to stop the set-up of new PAP customers until these system changes are completed and thoroughly reviewed. We will inform customers when we can accept new PAP applications again. Thank you for your patience at this time.

 
  • Existing Pre-authorized Payments

Existing pre-authorized payment customers can change or cancel pre-authorized payments via the request forms below:

     • Change Request Form - Pre-authorized Payment (PAP) - for existing PAP customers only
     • Cancellation Request Form - Pre-authorized Payment (PAP) - for existing PAP customers only

  
 
  • Postal mail, (enclosing both your cheque and invoice stub) in the return envelope provided with your invoice or to PO Box 3700, Concord, ON L4K 5N2
  
 
  • By Western Union payment at one of the many worldwide outlets including many in PowerStream's territory i.e. Wal-Mart, Metro (formerly A&P and Dominion) grocery stores, Money Mart
