Time-Of-Use (TOU) rates are the fixed electricity prices* charged to all Regulated Price Plan customers, both residential and small business (electricity demand is less than 50 kW), in PowerStream's service territory. TOU pricing varies based on the time of day and week customers use electricity. *Prices subject to change every six months.

What is the Regulated Price Plan?
At the request of the Minister of Energy, the Ontario Energy Board developed an electricity price plan that provides stable and predictable pricing, encourages conservation and ensures the price consumers pay better reflects the price paid to generators. The Regulated Price Plan pricing applies to customers who buy their electricity through PowerStream. Consumers who currently buy their electricity from a retailer and pay a contract price will continue to do so. Customers eligible for the Regulated Price Plan include Residential, Low Volume, Designated and Multi-unit Residential. RPP Tiered Prices
