What is the Regulated Price Plan?

At the request of the Minister of Energy, the Ontario Energy Board developed an electricity price plan that provides stable and predictable pricing, encourages conservation and ensures the price consumers pay better reflects the price paid to generators.

The Regulated Price Plan pricing applies to customers who buy their electricity through PowerStream. Consumers who currently buy their electricity from a retailer and pay a contract price will continue to do so.

Customers eligible for the Regulated Price Plan include Residential, Low Volume, Designated and Multi-unit Residential.
