BREAKDOWN OF ELECTRICITY BILL CHARGES

PowerStream’s distribution rates, the portion of the electricity bill that is related to PowerStream’s operations and which represents 21% of the total electricity charges found on the bill, are amongst the lowest in Ontario.

PowerStream, a municipally-owned local electricity distribution company, continues to look for efficiencies in its operations in order to reduce the upward pressure on customer distribution rates (embedded in the ‘Delivery’ line found on customer bills).
