Welcome to PowerStream's online service related to opening and closing residential PowerStream accounts. To get started, choose one of the following three options:

    Customer wishing to open or close a residential account, click here.

   Lawyer representing an incoming or outgoing residential customer, click here.

   Residential landlord who wishes to accept or decline continued service at rental premises in the event a tenant closes their account, click here.

Please be mindful that if an incoming customer, or their legal representative, does not request electricity service by the closing date of the residential property or unit, PowerStream may disconnect the electrical service. In addition to the inconvenience of having service disconnected, the incoming customer will be responsible for the associated reconnection charges.

If the premise or unit has been disconnected for more than six months, the owner of the property or unit must first have the property inspected and approved by the Electrical Safety Authority.

PowerStream will not be responsible for any loss or damage occasioned by the connection or disconnection of service to a premise or unit in accordance with PowerStream's Conditions of Service document.
