On April 1, 2005 six of Ontario's largest local electricity distribution companies, including PowerStream, launched powerWISE® - a major multi-year initiative designed to promote energy conservation to consumers and to reduce the demand for electricity in our respective service areas. To assist consumers in their efforts to "be powerWISE" we have developed the web site www.powerwise.ca. Customers can use the Energy Calculator, visit the Reality House, try a Do-It-Yourself energy audit, read up on conservation tips and information to help make smart lighting decisions, plus much more. |
